FAQs
Can I bring my beats over from Beatstars?
Yes. Bring your whole catalogue across, and we'll help you import beats, artwork and licensing so you're not starting from an empty store.
Why is there no marketplace?
A marketplace has a built-in conflict of interest. The whole model depends on keeping traffic and customers on the marketplace, not handing them to you. Polarity is built the opposite way. Your store, your traffic, your customer list, all yours.
What does "private beta" mean?
Polarity is live and working, but access is invite-only while we refine it, so we let producers in wave by wave. Founding members who join now get bonus sends, a founding-member badge, and early access to every new feature.
Do I have to use Influx?
No. You can plug in the email tool you already use. But Influx is built into Polarity, so it costs less than tools like Kit or Klaviyo and needs no Zapier subscription to connect to your store. Outside tools usually do.
How do I add collaborator splits?
Invite a collaborator by email, or send them a link directly. Once they've signed up as a collaborator and connected a payout option, you assign their split when you upload a beat.
Does Polarity handle licensing and delivery?
Yes. Every sale sends the licence and the files automatically, whether that's MP3, WAV or full stems, delivered instantly.
How does pricing work?
Pick a Polarity plan for the platform, then add Influx by send-volume only if you need email. Monthly or annual (two months free on annual). No marketplace commission.
How and when do I get paid?
Payouts go straight to your bank through Stripe, on your schedule. Polarity never holds your money.
Can I accept PayPal?
Not during the private beta. Payments are powered by Stripe, with PayPal coming at public launch.
What if I outgrow my plan?
Extra beats are $5 per 500, added anytime with no need to change tiers. For email, top up your send credits or move up an Influx tier whenever you need more. You only pay for what you actually use.
